- I am getting very excited for Janet Evanovich's collaboration with Lee Goldberg, The Heist, to be released June 18, 2013. I've been a fan of Janet's Stephanie Plum series forever. Although she also has the Alexandra Barnaby and Wicked series, those books haven't really drawn me in. The description of The Heist reminds me a little bit of the USA network's show White Collar, so I'm hoping there are some great characters and plot twists to hook my interest.
- The third installment of Sylvia Day's Crossfire series is just around the corner. Entwined with You will be released June 4, 2013. Honestly, I read the first two books to see what all the buzz was about and now I just want to finish the last book to tie up loose ends. The writing in this series was way better than the Fifty Shades trilogy, but I'm not a fan of this whole "I want to be independent but I need a man to dominate me" genre.
- Midsummer is only going to get hotter (-hopefully, says I wearing pants and a sweatshirt with the pellet stove burning at the end of May-) as Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld venture into Hell to rescue one of their own in The Darkest Craving, July 30, 2013. Showalter's Lords opened Pandora's Box; to save the world, each Lord was paired with one of the escaped evils. It's a fantastic series but I would strongly suggest reading the books in order.
